Group of about eight teens left 17-year-old in hospital after Whittington Park attack
A boy was stabbed in Upper Holloway on Sunday by a gang who stole his bike.
A witnesses said that the 17-year-old was attacked while cycling through Whittington Park by a group of about eight teenagers, one of which stabbed him in the buttocks.
Members of the public who witnessed the incident then tended to the victim in a hut in the park before an ambulance arrived.
The teenager was taken to an east London hospital where police said he was treated for “non-life-threatening injuries”.

A spokesman for Islington police said: “Police were called by London Ambulance Service at 6.15pm on May 24 to reports of a stabbed male.
“Officers attended and the victim, aged 17, was taken to a north London hospital suffering from stab wounds.

“An investigation into the circumstances of the incident has been launched, no arrests have been made.”
A woman who was in the park at the time of the attack, said: “He came through on his bike and then suddenly he was running saying he had been stabbed
“He was struggling so they got him in the hut to hide him and then the ambulance came.
“There were about eight boys in the gang, all about 15 or 16 years old.
“It was really quiet and then suddenly he started screaming, you just don’t expect that to happen.”
