Holloway man stabbed at rail station

A 23-year-old man from Holloway was stabbed in the chest on Monday night at a railway station.

The man was attacked at Gospel Oak train station at around 9.45pm after a fight in the station’s booking hall.

He was taken to the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel, where his condition was said to be stable.

Police are appealing for witnesses and are looking for two men seen hurrying away from the scene.

A British Transport Police spokesman said: “Anyone who witnessed the incident, or knows the identity of those responsible, is asked to come forward and contact police in confidence.”
