A man is due to appear at the Old Bailey this morning after being accused of stabbing a university lecturer to death in Holloway.
Timchang Nandap, 22, of Pett Street, Woolwich, has been charged with the murder of Dr Jeroen Ensink, 41, in Hilldrop Crescent.
Nandap appeared in custody at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, where he was remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey today.
A post-mortem examination held at Whittington Hospital mortuary on Thursday gave cause of Dr Ensink’s death as multiple stab wounds.
He was a married lecturer at London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
