A 16-YEAR-OLD boy from Upper Holloway has been arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage during the student protests in Westminster.
The boy is suspected of causing criminal damage to a police van in Whitehall, during the November 24 protest. He was arrested on Thursday December 23 and taken to a police station in north west London.
Two other teenage boys, aged 14 and 15, of Kentish Town, were also arrested on the same charges. The three teenagers have been bailed to return to police in May 2011.
Forty-eight arrests have now been made in connection to the November 24 protests. One man was charged with being drunk and disorderly and all others were released on police bail pending further investigation.
