TWO men have appeared in court charged with assaulting a police officer as they were arrested on suspicion of a �2,000 burglary.
Actor Ryan Aboagye, 30, of Southgate Road, Islington, and jobless Gregory Jones, 36, of St John’s Way, Archway, appeared at Highgate Magistrates’ Court on Monday charged with burgling a home in Tregaron Avenue, Crouch End, last Friday.
Aboagye was also charged with two counts of assaulting a PC, driving a car taken without consent and driving without insurance, and Jones with one count of assualting a PC.
The pair were remanded in custody until November 29.
