A woman who died after being stabbed in the throat on Sunday night has been named.

Elidona Demiraj, 25, died after being knifed at 38, Jessop Court, in Graham Street.

Arben Rexha, 31, of Jessop Court, appeared in custody at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court today after being charged with her murder.

He was remanded and will next appear at the Old Bailey on Tuesday, March 1.

Ms Demiraj was believed to be an Albanian national who had lived in the tower block for the past two months.
