A south Islington woman has been jailed for 13 years for her part in her boyfriend’s drug enterprise.
Toni Ferry, 23, of Lamb’s Passage near Whitecross Street, was part of an organised crime network led by Oluwatobi Sunmonu.
Harrow Crown Court heard Ferry had assisted in renting and paying for hotel rooms where drugs, firearms and ammunition were stored. The group, including co-conspirator Iyisha Levine, paid £28,000 to rent rooms over 17 months.
Ferry and Levine would stay in the rooms for days at a time, preparing and packaging large quantities of Class A drugs ready for distribution.
Officers also discovered a number of firearms had been purchased and delivered to Ferry’s home.
The group was caught in May last year, when police found £152,000 of cocaine and heroin, as well as guns and ammunition, at a room in the Queens Hotel Bayswater.
Ferry had denied 10 firearms and drugs charges, but was found guilty by a jury. Sunmonu was also jailed for nine years and Levine five years.
