More than 100 people shook the St. Mary Magdalene Academy in Liverpool road on Friday for Children in Need.

They were taking part in a mass Zumbathon for the charity and raised over £1,500 to help change the lives of disabled children and young people in the UK.

Participants paid £10 to take part in the huge exercise class which was supported by local businesses Absolute Print and Blue Legume.

The class was put on by popular Islington Zumba master Leary Wright and organised by Tracy Duligall, who works for Islington Council.

She said: “The night was enjoyed by all and everyone is looking forward to an even bigger one next year.”
