A shop in Holloway was targeted by rioters for the second night in a row on Tuesday (August 9).
The windows of Carphone Warehouse, in Holloway Road, were smashed by looters as they attempted to gain access to the store.
The shop suffered a similar attack on Sunday night, and may now be closed for the foreseeable future.
Alex Volcu, 23, a member of staff at the shop, said: “We’ve shut the shop and it could be closed until all this is over.
“When we came in this morning it was like this. The police must have reacted pretty quickly though, because they actually broke through the glass, but ran off before they could get in the shop.”
