A 28-year-old man was hospitalised with a punctured lung and multiple stab wounds after a brutal attack on Tuesday (June 21).

The victim was repeatedly punched and stabbed by a group of up to 15 men during the incident in Tollington Place, Finsbury Park at around 6.20pm.

He said he was in nearby Wray Crescent Park with a friend when he was approached by the men, who chased him to Tollington Place and surrounded him, subjecting him to the vicious assault.

The men, who are described as black males aged 16 to 20 years old, one of whom was carrying a crutch, then ran off toward Wray Crescent Park and Tollington Park.
