A man suffered serious injuries in a fight outside Upper Street pub The White Swan on Friday afternoon.
Police were called to the boozer at 4.35pm and found the 38-year-old with head injuries. He was taken to hospital and Scotland Yard said he remains there in a “serious but stable” condition.
A 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of GBH and taken to a north London police station for questioning.
He has since been bailed to a date in early November.
Police are still making enquiries into what happened.
