A CONVICTED rapist who was believed to be hiding out in Islington was arrested in Birmingham over the weekend.
Police launched a manhunt for David Andrew Brierley last week after he breached the terms of his licence following his release from jail for a sex attack in Warwickshire.
Detectives had information that he was staying in Islington, but eventually tracked him down in his home town of Birmingham.
