A murder investigation is underway after a man was stabbed to death in Islington yesterday (Monday) afternoon.
Police and the ambulance service were called to an address in Thornhill Road just before 4pm and the 59-year-old victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two men – a 58-year-old and a 63-year-old – were arrested at the address and remain in police custody this morning.
A Met Police spokesman said next of kin are yet to be informed and formal identification has not taken place.
A post-mortem will be held this afternoon.
