Police launched an investigation today after a mysterious pool of blood was found near Finsbury Park Tube.
Officers were called to reports of blood found on the floor at the junction of Seven Sisters Road and Fonthill road at about 10.30am but no injured person has so far been found.
A former pub near to the scene was cordoned off and a police guard placed outside, but no injured person was found.
A police spokesman said enquiries continue.
