POLICE hunting a man who stamped on his victim’s face, breaking his nose and fracturing his eye socket, have released an e-fit in the hope someone will be able to identify him.

The assault took place in Petherton Road, Highbury, on March 22 at around 6pm when a 46-year-old man was punched to the ground and kicked in the head in an unprovoked attack.

The suspect, who fled along Petherton Road towards Green Lanes, is a black man aged between 20 and 25 years old. He was 5ft 5ins tall and wearing a dark jacket and dark jeans.
