Police appeal following Finsbury sex attack
A 25-year-old woman suffered a serious sexual assault in Finsbury last week.
The victim had left a Christmas party and was walking along St Johns Street shortly after 3am on Thursday when she was attacked opposite Sadler’s Wells Theatre.
Police urgently need to speak to anyone who may have seen any men acting suspiciously in the area of St Johns Street or Rosebery Avenue or who may have seen the victim.
She was wearing 3/4 length dark coat and a red party wig which had flowers and glow sticks in it.
Those with information should contact Islington Sapphire Unit on 020 7421 0282 or, to remain anonymous, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
