Police divers were searching the Regent’s Canal in Hoxton this morning after a man was stabbed in Kingsland Road yesterday (March 9).
The 23-year-old was taken to hospital suffering stab wounds after reports of a brawl shortly before 5.30pm.
His injuries are said to be non-life threatening or life changing.
Officers arrested five men who are being held in custody.
Investigations are ongoing with police divers plunging into the waters below Kingsland Bridge to look for a knife.
