Customer came to aid of shop worker who was on her own at time of attack
A thug who threatened a female shop worker in Archway is being hunted by police.
The suspect grabbed the woman around the neck when she was working alone at Pay Less Food & Wine in Holloway Road on Sunday July 20 at 8.20pm.
He demanded money from the till, but was then tackled by a customer who had returned to the shop having seen the man looking suspicious.
Officers say the bystander wrestled the man off of the victim before chasing him out of the shop.

Police have released an image of a man they wish to track down in relation to the attempted robbery.
The man, who is thought to be about 25, is described as white, clean shaven, thin and 5ft 9ins tall with short black receding hair.

At the time of the incident he was wearing a sky blue polo shirt, blue jeans and white trainers.
