His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales came to Islington to celebrate the first birthday of a scheme that brings industry experts in touch with community groups and businesses.
The Big Connect, held at the Business Design Centre, in Upper Street, showcased the work Business in the Community does to help entrepreneurs, not-for-profit organisations and community initiatives serve the area during the royal visit on July 12.
Among other budding business brains, Prince Charles met tea mixologists Mike Turner and Krisi Smith, who have launched the Bluebird Tea Company.
Mr Turner, 25, said: “The Prince loved the names, and seemed to enjoy smelling the tea.”
