Youngsters at a Finsbury Park school are set to enjoy the sunshine on their new playground equipment.
The pupils at Christ the King Primary School, in Tollington Park, will get to grips with a multi-use games area, including football and basketball, play equipment and new playground markings for a variety of traditional and new sports – all of which the public can also use.
Deputy Mayor Richard Greening performed the ribbon-cutting honours.
Romy Hoster, deputy headteacher, said: “The new changes are brilliant for the children.
“It encourages them to explore and engage in outdoor activities and use the active space, where they can be lively and energetic while having fun.”
