Seven Sisters Road assault: Man fighting for his life after serious assault in Finsbury Park

A man is currently fighting for his life after a serious assault in Seven Sisters Road, Finsbury Park, last night.
Police were called to the junction with Pooles Park just after 10pm last night.
Officers and paramedics found a man, aged in his 40s, suffering “life threatening” and “assault related” injuries.
He was taken to hospital and next-of-kin have been informed.
Forensics officers were surveying Bethel Cafe Restaurant this afternoon. The area outside it is cordoned off.
