A teenage boy and a 21-year-old have been charged with burglary following a suspected smash and grab raid at an Apple store.
The 16-year-old from the Islington borough and Paul Fearn, 21, of Goswell Road, Finsbury, appeared at City of Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday accused of the burglary at the technology store in Covent Garden in the early hours of Monday morning.
Elsewhere, former Apple chief and technology visionary Steve Jobs died of respiratory arrest linked to the spread of pancreatic cancer, it was announced.
Tributes were laid at the company’s Covent Garden shop after his death.
