A motorcyclist was rushed to hospital after being involved in a collision with a black cab in Islington on Saturday.
The female biker was taken to the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel with non life-threatening injuries after the incident in Upper Street, at the Berners Road junction, at around 11am. Police temporarily closed the road.
Harriet Glenn, a witness to the incident, said the impact of the collision sent the motorcyclist flying through the air.
Mrs Glenn, a mother of three, was impressed at the public’s “amazing” response. She continued: “There were two really amazing people, both nurses, who ran to her aid. Someone found her wallet on the ground. Everyone was calling 999.”
