This a video shown to jurors at the Old Bailey today which the prosecution claims shows the defendants in the Mehmet Hassan murder trial gloating with his money on the day of his death.
Mr Hassan, 56, was found dead at his flat in Westcliffe House, Baxter Road, in March last year.
Today at the Old Bailey jurors were told that 25-year-old care assistant Leonie Granger, who had met Mr Hassan at a Mayfair casino, let her boyfriend Kyrron Jackson and his close friend Nicholas Chandler into the his flat in March last year where they kicked and stamped him to death before ransacking his flat and stealing his poker winnings.
This video was found on Leonie Granger’s phone when she was arrested on suspicion of murder shortly after Mr Hassan’s death.
Granger, of Gillingham, Kent; Jackson, 28, of Romborough Way, Lewisham; and Chandler, 28, of Lee High Road, south-east London, deny the charges against them.
