A popular children’s playground was razed to the ground in a fire last night.
The Three Corners Adventure Playground, in Spa Fields Park, was all but destroyed by flames in a blaze that started in the park, off Skinner Street, Finsbury, at around 9.20pm.
No one was hurt, but it took four fire engines and 20 firefighters about 45 minutes to put the fire out
The cause of the fire is thought to be suspicious and Islington Police are investigating.
