A woman needed hospital treatment after her 4x4 overturned in Holloway Road.
The driver, in her 50s, flipped the vehicle on its roof near Tollington Way at 7.20am on Saturday.
London Ambulance Service took her to hospital but the injuries were not life-threatening.
Police and fire officers blocked off traffic and reduced the road to one lane while glass debris from a smashed window was cleared and the heavily damaged car was towed away.
Kieran Patel, 53, a newsagent owner, said: βIt is amazing that nobody was seriously hurt.β
