Cyclist suffers ‘life-changing’ injuries in Upper Street lorry crash

A cyclist has suffered serious injuries after a lorry collided with his bike in Upper Street.

The man in his 50s is in hospital with what police called “life-changing” injuries following the crash just before 5.10pm on Saturday.

The lorry driver stopped at the scene, near the junction of Theberton Street, and no arrests have been made.

Police taped off the road while they investigated the crash.
