A new five-a-side pitch was given a Premier League welcome when Arsenal’s mascot Gunnersaurus turned up to the grand opening.

Hargrave Park School, in Bredgar Road, Archway, unveiled their sports pitch with the help of the Emirates Stadium’s resident dinosaur.

Talented young footballers then showed off some silky skills on the new facility funded by the school and Islington Council.

Alannah Chatir, business manger at the Hargrave Park, said: “It was a brilliant day. It was raining but there were nothing but happy smiling faces everywhere. Gunnersaurus was great and really rallied all the troops.”
