Inflatable assault courses and circus performers were among the entertainment at a Barnsbury school’s summer fair.
Hundreds of children and parents turned out for the annual event at Thornhill Primary School in Thornhill Road, which saw children manning food and craft stalls.
Smoothies and pizzas were among the treats on the menu for those who attended and many former students also turned up to join in the fun.
Former circus performer Lucy Newham – whose three children Nathan, 10, Leo, eight, and Nancy, five, are pupils at the school – even donned her metre-long stilts for the occasion.
Mrs Newham, 48, said: “The children had a great time and it’s lovely that so many older children came back to visit having left.”
