Representatives of several different religions came together for a day of peace on Sunday (Septmber 25).
The Islington Faiths Forum Peace Event, at St Mary’s Church, in Upper Street, Islington, saw around 100 people from the Muslim, Sikh, Buddhist and Christian communities enjoy various singing performances and a children’s poetry competition.
Roz Miller, development director for IFF, said: “It was a great fun and nice to see people from so many different faiths there. Some of the performances by the children really were amazing.”
