A star of daytime TV has donated £20,000 to a Danish school in Finsbury.
Daniel Curran, managing director of Finders International in Vestry Street, took the company’s contribution to the Dania School in Northampton Road to £70,000 with his latest donation.
Mr Curran, whose genealogists play a major role in the new series of BBC’s Heir Hunters, stumped up £50,000 to help headteacher Eva Papesch open the school in 2013. His Danish wife Anette Nielson works there.
The new money will help set up a pre-school to add to the four classes already at Dania.
The Dania School is attended by children all over London and has plans to open a secondary school.
