Man charged with Upper Holloway murder

A man has been charged with murder following a fatal stabbing in Upper Holloway last week.

The victim, named by police as 45-year-old Jonathan Brierley of Edmonton, died at the scene in Landseer Road, near the Landseer pub, at around 2am on Thursday.

Jeremiah Watson, 34, of Kingsdown Road, Upper Holloway, was arrested later that day and subsequently charged with murder.
