More than 60 residents and their four-legged friends joined parks staff for a dog show with a difference on Sunday.
The Top Dog and Scruffs Show offered one-to-one training, free microchipping and obedience tips, as well as prizes for the obstacle course, best trick and waggiest tail.
The day was run in Mitchison Baxter Park, off Mitchison Road, Islington, by Islington Council’s parks team to help encourage responsible dog ownership.
James Gilchrist, the council’s head of Greenspace and leisure, said: “It was a great day, and dog owners had the chance to pick up some advice as well as compete for prizes.
“Responsible dog ownership is important so all residents can enjoy our parks and open spaces.”
