Islington parents were today warned to be vigilant after a man in a Mercedes reportedly followed a child to school.
Children at Thornhill Primary School in Thornhill Road were sent home with letters from acting head Jenny Lewis telling them about the incident, which had been reported to police.
Ms Lewis wrote: “We will, of course, continue to be vigilant here and I felt it important that you were also made aware so that you can be vigilant and discuss this with your child/children as appropriate.”
When asked where and when the incident had occurred, police refused to comment.
The school was not immediately available for comment when contacted by the Gazette.
