Two men have been charged with possession of a gun following an incident in Finsbury on Thursday.
Ekane Mukane, 19, of Abbotsford Avenue, Tottenham, has been charged with possession of a prohibited weapon, possession of an offensive weapon and ABH on a police officer, while Moses Preddie, 20, of Omnibus Way, Walthamstow, was charged with possession of a prohibited weapon after a disturbance near Old Street at around 3.10am.
Mukane was arrested at the scene, while Preddie was held following a collision between two vehicles in east London. Both men appeared in custody at Thames Magistrates Court on Saturday and were remanded to appear at Woolwich Crown Court at a later date.
