A world premiere marrying silent film with live music from the BBC Symphony Orchestra takes place in Finsbury tomorrow night (Wednesday).
Underground, set in 1920s London, will be shown alongside a brand new score by award-winning composer Neil Brand, performed by the BSO at the Barbican, in Silk Street.
The film is a tale of love, jealousy, treachery and murder set on the London Underground, which culminates in an atmospheric chase down tube tunnels.
Released in 1928, Underground was the first solo work by director Anthony Asquith and is considered a classic of the silent film genre.
