Young bookworms at an Islington primary school can now take their love of reading into the great outdoors.
Graduates from the property business Cluttons created the outside reading area for pupils at Vittoria Primary School in Half Moon Crescent last week.
It has plants that surround a reading seat covered by a wooden archway, with a net to which the children can attach pictures of their favourite books.
Graduate planner at Cluttons, Owain Nedin, said: “We are delighted to have helped pupils at Vittoria Primary School nurture a love of reading in their new dedicated reading space.
“Not only will the children be able to enjoy group reading with their teachers, but they will also be encouraged to discover their own favourite stories in peaceful and comfortable surroundings.”
