Environmentally-conscious residents can now recycle small electrical items thanks to ten new street recycling banks.
DIY tools, kettles and remote controls are amongst the items which can be deposited in the banks spread out across the borough.
The banks are located at Pemberton Gardens and Holland Walk, in Archway, Highbury Place and Spring Gardens, in Highbury. Cottage Road and Hornsey Road, in Holloway, St John Street, in Finsbury, Sunnyside Road, in Hornsey Rise,
Caledonian Road, in Islington, Newington Green, in Newington Green.
Items too large to fit in the banks can be disposed of through the council’s free bulky waste service – call 0207 527 2000.
