A leisure centre has been given a facelift just in time those New Year’s keep fit resolutions.

The gym at Cally Pool, in Caledonian Road, Islington, has been made bigger, with brand new equipment including machines and free wights.

As an added incentive to shake off that excess Chrsitmas weight, membership prices have been slashed and start from £24.95 per month.

Cllr Janet Burgess MBE, Islington Council’s executive member for health and wellbeing said, “It’s very exciting that we have a leisure centre with visible improvements being made – not just invisible ones like improvements in air quality.

“The gym looks much brighter and inviting with brand new equipment, and with the new membership fees is perfect for New Year’s resolutions.”
