Residents of all ages joined the free confidence-boosting Islington by Bike event which set off from Rosemary Gardens in Canonbury.
David Shannon, Islington Council cycling officer who led the ride, said: “It was an enjoyable and excellent learning experience for all the adults and children who took part.
“We hope that getting to know the borough from the saddle and improving their confidence cycling on roads will inspire more people to enjoy cycling safely.”
