Famous Finsbury street party returns with giant art exhibition

London’s most unique street art experience returns to Finsbury this weekend.

Now in its fifth year, the Whitecross Street Party will showcase “Rise of the Non-Conformists” – the two month exhibition choreographed and curated by St Luke’s Community Centre and artist Teddy Baden, with the support of Islington Council.

Over Saturday and Sunday there will be a street food festival, music from the likes of Solution Soundsystems, street theatre and a park dedicated to small children.

The festival runs from 12 noon to 6pm each day, with the fun found all along Whitecross Street (EC1) and in the Fortune Street Park.

The exhibition will be on display throughout the summer with a downloadable exhibition guide available from wxstreetparty.co.uk
