Home grown food is up for grabs between 11am and 3pm on Wednesday October 26 at City University London in Northampton Square, Clerkenwell.

Residents can attend for free and produce includes cheese, organic meats, eggs, cakes, pastries, sausages, plants and food grown by staff and students.

City University will hold a Green City Week from Monday (October 24) which includes a marine environment forum, a debate on cycling and a business conference.

Dawn White, environmental officer, said: “There are many great green initiatives through Green City Week. We are looking forward to opening our doors, meeting our neighbours and encouraging them to be a little more environmentally conscious too.”
