Residents were evacuated from a tower block after a fire ripped though the lobby of the building this morning (Monday).
Fifteen people had to be led to safety by fire fighters following the blaze in Wharf Road just after 11am.
Three fire engines and around 15 firefighters had the flames under control by 11.40.
There were no reported injuries and around fire crews estimate five per cent of the lobby was damaged by the fire.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
