Small businesses in Islington can receive free support and advice to break into the 13 billion City supply chain market.
The City of London Corporation has recently injected 300,000 into the scheme in an attempt to get more local businesses to take advantage of the lucrative business market.
The programme, Ready to Supply the City, offers one-on-one mentoring sessions, events and workshops to help micro-size businesses open new sources of revenue.
Mark Boleat, policy chairman for the City of London Corporation, said of the scheme: “This is a valuable opportunity for small businesses to navigate their way out of a difficult period by harnessing game-changing opportunities with major firms.”
