Celebrations turned sour at a 30th birthday party on Highbury Fields when a “full blown brawl” broke out.
Police had to drive across the packed park on Saturday afternoon after being called to the scene.
Onlookers enjoying the sunshine took to Twitter to comment on what they were witnessing.
Officers later confirmed one man had been arrested on suspicion of affray.
