Fun and frolics returned to Mayton Street at the weekend for the annual street festival.
Residents came in droves to enjoy the Holloway festival’s eclectic mix of performers and activities.
Afternoon tea was put on with host and artist Katy Baird to chart the history of England’s “noisiest of neighbours”, Scotland.
Children were encouraged to get crafty at the party, making bottletop bugs and other strange creatures from recycled household materials. They could also try their hand at some light-hearted modelling, with professional photographer Heloise Bergman on hand with an array of props and costumes.
Festival-goers also had a go at brightening up their street thanks to artist and crafter Nessa Finnegan who gave workshops on how to make handmade door numbers and fabric-covered flower pots to take home.
