There was singing, dancing and gardening in the New River Green estate on Saturday for a youth club’s annual bash.
Hundreds of people flocked to St Paul’s Park for the Rose Bowl Summer Celebration, including mayor Cllr Una O’Halloran, who cut a rug with dance group Adore.
The community festival is in its third year and guests enjoyed a barbecue, bouncy slide, arts and crafts and took part in sports and games.
Ramsey Flowers N1, who carry out guerrilla gardening in their area to brighten up green spaces.
Ceri Prinsloo, Rose Bowl manager said: “It’s great everyone in the community can come together to celebrate in the park. A huge thank to everyone to helped make this day so special.”
Rose Bowl offers free music production, sports, dance, arts and crafts and support to youngsters.
The centre is run by Isledon Arts and funded by Islington Council and charity the Friends of Rose Bowl.
