Candy floss, hook-a-duck, unicyclists and acrobats.

These were just some of the attractions at this year’s Great British Fair event held at the Old Queen’s Head pub in Angel.

Visitors enjoyed a game of “ball in the bucket”, tried their hand at the coconut shy and watched scantily clad acrobats stretch, bend and get flipped upside down at the event on Easter Sunday.

The top floor of the venue was transformed into a Big Top which hosted live folk music, a unicyclist, a magician and even a bearded lady.

Punters raided the pub’s dressing up box and posed for pictures, tested their muscle power on the “strength test” and feasted on fairground food favourites hotdogs and candy floss.
