Flying actors Welly O’Brien (in red) and Beatrice Perini take to the skies in a spectacular aerial performance over Holloway this weekend.
Hundreds of local residents gathered to watch the performance of Heartland, an adaptation of the Greek Minotaur and Icarus stories, as it reached its conclusion above the Andover Estate, off Seven Sisters Road, Holloway.
At the end of the performance, which took place on an eight metre rig, Ms Perini took off into the buildings round Andover Square.
The play, part of the Islington-wide platform festival, was a collaboration between the Scarabeus theatre company, based and started Hargrave Park Primary School, Archway, and disabled acting group Candoco.
The performance started at the Hornsey Baths, Hornsey Road, before the Pooles Park Community and School Choir led a parade down too the estate.
