The second trial connected to the murder of a young man knifed to death in a gang attack opened on Monday.

Andrew Jaipaul, 21 was stabbed 25 times with broken glass and knives as he walked through the Andover Estate, off Seven Sisters Road, Holloway, in June 2011.

In June this year, four men and one boy were found guilty of his murder and jailed for a total of 62 years.

Seven more men are now in the dock at the Old Bailey.

Allen Kalema, 19, of Cardinals Way and Tony Walker, 20, of Hazelville Road, both Archway, are charged with murder.

Jamie Farrell,21, of Havelock Street, Islington, Tylon Mason-Riley, 21, of Adams place, Holloway, Michael Burton, 20, of Hurlock Street, Highbury, Stephen Roberts, 21, of Highbury New Park, Highbury and Elliot Parkinson, 18, of Thornhill Square, Barnsbury, are all accused of violent disorder.
